3 Time Savers for Collecting Student Data
1. Do not TRACK ALL assignments
- Pick 1 exit ticket, 1 quiz, and/or 1 class assignment(before the summative assessment) to track for your students.
- If you’re like me, I have over 100 students in a day, and it’s impossible to track everything. Track what really matters/shows their ability to complete the topic/standard.
2. Start with ONE class to track(you need to learn with a few students before you can track ALL of them.)
3. Use self-graded formative/summative assessments(We can't grade it ALL)
- Quizizz–This is a self-grading gamified way for students to answer questions regarding the topic(s) or standard(s) that are covered.

- Google Forms– I am at a Google school so I love the data that I can collect from a Google Form. It is also FREE, but students need a google account in order to have their assessment graded.
